| Early Warning Systems |
 |
The ClearCare Early Warning System is an information
sharing system that will email notification of any
untoward events that occur at any time.
For example, if there is a serious incident such
as an assault on staff or a restraint within a care
home, an automated email is sent to all relevant
persons connected with the home on submission of
the relevant form, in realtime. The notification
of an occurrence as significant as a restraint empowers
the manager to investigate and act immediately.
The ClearCare system can offer guidance on completed
forms, and then prompt the user to follow the correct
procedure. Information on the event can then be
shared and disseminated across management, and,
if necessary, the relevant authorities.

Transparency
The ClearCare commitment to transparency ensures that detailed
and accurate reports can then be collated and produced as evidence
using the information gathered at source.
The ClearCare system makes it possible for all levels of management
to monitor each home on a minute by minute basis. If homes are
monitored only on a weekly or even monthly basis, it is often
difficult to establish a pattern of events, the situation may
have already escalated and the outcome could be difficult to
evaluate successfully. |

Security
The ClearCare system is a secure system. Users have
to be invited onto the system by the file administrator
operating the file of the person or project; otherwise
it would not be possible to identify the user, resulting
in access being denied. Forms can be updated but all
forms, once submitted, can never be deleted. Each Update,
Submission and Comment is time-stamped with the author's
user ID. The original copy is stored and the data remains
unchanged. This system can assist the police authorities
and social services with instant access to investigation
when required.
